Whether you are looking for individual sessions, small group sessions, or rehabilitation, Corefit can help. From beginner to athlete, from young to old or injured, I offer training to meet your needs. Check out what’s available below.

Individuals and small groups

For individuals, or those wishing to take small group sessions (two to six people), private sessions provide the ultimate focused environment for you to get the most out of your training time. These sessions can be based on Pilates or around functional exercise, or they can combine elements of both. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ private session, two examples of sessions that suit some people’s needs are Pilates Plus and Osteo Pilates.

Taking Pilates technique for core engagement and breathing as a starting point, this session adds other types of exercises that strengthen your functional movement patterns.

In a supportive environment use a variety of equipment and tools in exercises that promote greater mobility, strength and agility.

Osteo Pilates – a positive session for people with bone density issues or spinal conditions

Change your relationship with osteoporosis and osteopenia and take more control of the quality of your movement.

Perhaps you are reluctant to exercise, or lack confidence in doing everyday tasks safely. Would you like to learn how to cope better?

Understand which movements and activities to avoid and why. Find out the importance of healthy movement and reduce your fear of staying active. Learn simple but safe movements and pain-free exercises relevant to every day living that will improve your quality of life.

This session also provides a common sense approach to exercise and spinal care for a number of back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee conditions.

Rehabilitation

Do you need rehabilitation after an injury? Do you have an illness or condition that means you need to take extra care when exercising? Has your doctor recommended that you try Pilates? Come and talk to me and let’s see if we can work together to improve your fitness.

A private rehabilitation session will ensure that you can get the most from your time with me, and that I can focus on what you need. Often clients move on from rehabilitation sessions to take part in group classes; though this is entirely at your discretion of course.

I have extensive experience in rehabilitating clients with wide-ranging needs, and I have various specialist qualifications.
