Hello. I’m Andrea Young and I deliver fabulous and fun Pilates, fitness and movement classes for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels in and around the Sotogrande area.

I believe that at all stages of life a body that moves well is central to both physical and mental well-being. Key to moving well are a strong ‘core’ and healthy movement patterns. I teach these through a combination of clinical matwork Pilates classes, and other functional classes which focus on exercise using good movement patterns. This type of exercise promotes a body that is strong from the core outwards, leading to good posture with a balance of strength, mobility and flexibility.
Almost all of my classes are clinical classes. This means that I ask about your health, and any injuries or relevant illnesses that you may have, and I only prescribe exercises that are appropriate for you.
Also, many people have poor movement patterns, even if they are otherwise healthy. It is just as important to ensure that those patterns are not reinforced, but corrected or replaced with good ones.

Whether you are a beginner, or you’ve done Pilates before, you are welcome at my classes. I also work with individuals, which is ideal for making optimal progress or for rehabilitation. Individual sessions may be pure Pilates or use a combination of Pilates and other functional exercise. And I do tailored classes for small groups – great for a group of family or friends on holiday.
